The Most Beautiful Women in Sports - 2010

Last year I did a couple of the most beautiful women in sports Hubs, so I thought I would update this years and see who's moved up, who's new and who has fallen out of sight.
Like last time we have a lot of tennis players.
But we also have two alpine ski racers, a race car driver, a female MMA fighter and a couple of figure skaters.

1. Serena Williams

The younger sister of former WTA World No. 1 player Venus Williams comes in at number one.
As of this article, Serena is ranked World No. 1 in both singles and doubles in tennis.
As far as talent goes, c'mon, we all know she has it.
Serena has played the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open multiple times and won gold at the Olympics twice.
And as far as hot goes, remember when she walked into Arthur Ashe Stadium back in 2002 in that black Lycra outfit?

2. Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova made her name in Tennis when at the age of 17; she defeated Serena Williams at the Wimbledon final for her first Grand Slam singles title in 2004.
She started practicing tennis at the age of four.
Maria has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and appeared in ads for Nike, Prince and Canon.
People named her one of the 50 most beautiful celebrities in the world in 2005, Maxim ranked Sharapova the hottest athlete in the world in 2003, 2004,2005 and 2006.

But despite the fact that Anna won over three million dollars in prize money during her career, ESPN rated Anna number 18 in its "25 Biggest Sports Flops of the Past 25 Years" and she was ranked number one as one of sport's most overrated athletes.

5. Danica Patrick

Even though Cris beat her, and she hasn’t fought since then, she still came in at number three in the Unified Women’s Mixed Martial Arts Rankings.
During her career in MMA, Gina appeared as "Crush" on the NBC show American Gladiators, she was voted "Hottest Woman In America" in 2008 by Big Biz Magazine, ranked very high in Google and Yahoo! searches, appeared in the video game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 as Natasha, ranked #16 in Maxim's Hot 100 list in 2009, appeared in the new Michael Jai White film Blood and Bone, and will be appearing in the spy thriller movie "Knockout" directed by Steven Soderbergh.
